When first thinking of a destination wedding a lot of people think beaches, tropical locations, and/or intimacy. These can all be true, but a wedding can still be stressful, no matter where it’s being held. I can speak on that with firsthand experience, as I got married in Riviera Maya in April of 2017. Although it was beautiful and everything I had hoped for, it was still stressful to coordinate everything for our 50 guests travelling 3,000 miles away. Especially when I didn’t know anyone else who had done a destination wedding, so having a go-to resource wasn’t an option for me.
Ever since then, I’ve wanted to create that resource for future brides. A one stop shop for resort ratings, wedding package prices, must-haves for your big day, and everything in between.
