Invited to a destination or beach wedding and not sure what to wear? You know it’ll be too warm for a full suit, but don’t know how dressed down to go. What does beach wedding attire consist of?
The dress code for a beach wedding is typically dressy casual or semi formal. If you’re going to a destination wedding you’ll get a good sense of how upscale the resort is just by looking at their website. Do they pride themselves on luxury and similar amenities? You may want to consider dressing your outfit up. If the resort seems more casual then make sure to pack items that are more accommodating for that.
If you still aren’t sure don’t hesitate to ask the travel agent what type of dress code the resort follows. They’ve either been to the resort themselves or have enough experience with them to know.

In my opinion, this outfit is the perfect mix of semi formal. A casual button up with dress shoes and chino pants. Another look that can be dressed up or down very easily depending on which direction you’d like to go.
